Journey to the West: Heaven and Hell is a 2D pixel-art action adventure game by Liu-Qi Productions, inspired by the legend of the Monkey King(Sun Wukong). The game takes place in ancient China and features forests, islands, and temples rendered in pixel art. The Monkey King’s goal is to traverse the realm and defeat the monsters sent by gods and demons to kill him. The journey emphasizes growth, humility, and purpose rather than pure power.
