Bug City is a Rougelike, DnD inspired, classic RPG, that’s mainly focused on story, strategy, and moral decisions. You play as a bored, sour “Demi-God” who got fired out of their Maker’s work, and finds a harsh lesson on some planets in search of a new god-like job. You’re trying to become one of the council of The Interplanetary Legion, a faction of “Gods” that specialize in managing planets and their life, sentient or not. As for any Demi-God applying, they must be able to lead, conquer, and provide for any planet at an early stage of their development (think Bronze Age) to be suitable for any position. And if you’re going to be a council member, then you absolutely must pass with flying colors; find a cure for a disease, take over the world, and solve all the world’s problems. And if you don’t pass… Punishment will be due.
